Location
OSDC 2007 will be held at the Royal on the Park hotel in the centre of Brisbane, opposite the Brisbane City Botanical Gardens. It is located on the corner of Albert and Alice Streets.

How to get here
The Royal on the Park Hotel is approximately 1km (10 - 15 minutes walk) from Central Station at the southern end of the CBD. Further transport options are below.
Loop Bus
For those staying in the CBD or travelling by train, you may find the free Loop buses useful. These generally run every 10 minutes and encircle the whole CBD. Further information can be found at the following locations
Trains
Get off at Central station and either catch a Loop bus (above) or walk. Most train routes go through Central as you can see from the train route map (205K).

Ferry
City Cat and City Ferry terminals are located at the bottom end of Edward Street and at the rear of Parliament House. From either of these locations it is a short walk up to the hotel. For timetables and maps please visit the TRANSLink ferry page.
Cycling
Those considering cycling to the conference may find the Brisbane City Bike maps useful. The CBD is on map 5.
Driving
We recommend that you use public transport or cycle into the conference. However for our guests who are travelling to the conference by car, free parking is available for those staying at the hotel.
Unfortunately the hotel cannot provide parking for those staying elsewhere. Information on external carparks and Brisbane parking regulations can be found on the Our Brisbane parking page.
Getting from the airport to the city
The easiest way to get from Brisbane Airport to the CBD is the Airtrain. The Airtrain departs the airport every 30 minutes between 6:16am and 7:34pm each week day. When returning it departs Central station every 30 minutes between 5:34am and 7:03pm each week day. The train costs $13 per adult one way ($24 return) and takes 20 minutes.
A taxi trip from the airport to the CBD costs between $30 and $45 and takes approximately 30 minutes.
