A Big Thankyou From OSDC

In order to bring this conference to fruition a large number of people have volunteered many hours of their time. Many of these people have worked on unglamorous tasks which aren't immediately obvious, yet without which the conference could not have gone ahead. The OSDC committee would like to extend our warmest thanks to all of our helpers. In the big things and the little things, your assistance has helped make this conference happen.

The Programme Committee

The members of the programme committee are responsible for choosing the wide selection of talks we have available today. From almost eighty paper proposals the programme committee chose sixty talks to happen over our three days. Members of the programme committee were also instrumental in helping to organise the conference timetable, room allocation, session chairs and BOFs.

Without the programme commitee's efforts, the programme could not have been organised so smoothly. We extend our thanks to:

Anthony Baxter
Dean Tedesco
Jacinta Richardson
Jonathan Oxer
Nathan Bailey
Paul Fenwick
Richard Jones

The Reviewers and Referees

Because of our amazing paper reviewers and referees we have managed to receive and review papers for every talk at the conference. This means that our proceedings provide a comprehensive coverage of all the talks that attendees can attend and those they miss. This was a huge undertaking and it would not have been possible except for the generous volunteering of our reviewers and referees. These people gave up hours of their time to become familiar with the technology at hand and then to provide invaluable feedback on the paper. They did this under tight deadlines and with no expectation of reward.

Without this outpouring of generousity, from the reviewers and referees, our papers could not have achieved the quality they have. We extend our thanks to:

General Helpers

Many other people have assisted in this conference organisation and will be helping out on the day. Our sincerest gratitude goes out to you all. Your help on the administration table, chairing the rooms, hosting the BOFs, running errands, organising morning and afternoon teas, helping out at lunch and all those other little but essential tasks are appreciated. Without you, this conference will not work.

The Conference Attendees

Thanks for showing up! Your attendance at this conference shows a great support for Open Source development in Australia and the Asia-Pacific. Without you, this conference would be rather lonely. Still, if you're having fun and you get the opportunity to meet any of those listed above, please feel free to offer your own thanks.

Melbourne Perl Mongers

Thanks go to all of Melbourne Perl Mongers. Without the support of the wonderful people in Melbourne PM this conference would have been a lot harder to achieve. Particular thanks to the Melbourne Perl Mongers committee for giving us free reign in making this happen.
